Social Media Strategist
Alannah manages the social media for GIVE, in addition to overseeing our digital marketing activities and using her design acumen to ensure our brand is consistent across all digital platforms. She also manages social for the philanthropic arm of the New York Mets, the Amazin’ Mets Foundation.
With a First Class degree in Art and Visual Culture, complemented by Business Studies, Alannah brings a great blend of award-winning creative thinking with a passion for new technology and media to the team. Before joining Point72 and GIVE, Alannah worked in the United Nations Plaza, devising Entertainment-Education initiatives for clients such as UNICEF, World Food Programme, and UNEP. Her previous campaigns include advocating for increased access to SRH (sexual reproductive health) services for adolescents in East and Southern Africa, stimulating community conversations around maternal and child health in West and Central Africa, and creating innovative strategies to raise global awareness of wildlife trafficking.
A UK native with Mediterranean roots (Irish-Ibicencan), Alannah hails from Liverpool, UK. After moving between the islands of Italy and Spain, together with various English cities, she now proudly calls NYC home.
Alannah’s biggest passions lie in animal welfare, rescue, and rehabilitation, followed by karaoke, then contemporary installation art, painting, and contextual art analysis, with many exhibitions of her own under her belt.
