Jillian McCarthy

Senior Program Officer

Jillian manages part of the Foundation’s health portfolio, focusing specifically on adolescent mental health and women’s health initiatives.

Before joining the team, Jillian was a Program Officer at the Amazin’ Mets Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the New York Mets. She managed the Foundation’s grant portfolio and supported its fundraising efforts. Her experience in the nonprofit sector is diverse, having worked with populations in rapid rehousing and homeless prevention, school social work, refugee resettlement, and children affected by parental incarceration.

Jillian holds an MSW from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from The Catholic University of America. Originally from New Jersey, she now resides in Brooklyn where she enjoys rock climbing and exploring Prospect Park with her dog, Charlie.
