Madeleine Hardie

Head of Finance & Operations

Maddy oversees the organization’s financial strategy, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and operational infrastructure. Prior to joining the Foundation, she led the Financial Planning and Analysis function at a New York City-based philanthropy, where she was responsible for budget development and management, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic analysis. She brings over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with expertise spanning social justice, economic development, health science, and higher education organizations. Maddy holds a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit and Public Finance from NYU Wagner and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from NYU College of Arts and Science. She also serves as Head of Finance and Operations for the Amazin’ Mets Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the New York Mets.
